Join Beth Ruggiero-York to learn and practice the art of light painting under dark skies to create exciting images. Beth will start with a short introduction to the tools and techniques before we split into small groups to light paint and shoot different buildings and structures on the property of the Superstition Mountain Museum in Apache Junction.

Please Note: This meeting will be held at the Superstition Mountain Museum located at 4087 N. Apache Trail, Apache Junction. Attendees will need to provide their own transportation or carpool with others. We will be meeting at the Superstition Mountain Museum (parking will be in front of the gate entrance to the museum). 


Plan to arrive at approximately 5PM as the program will start promptly at 5:30PM.


About The Speaker



Beth Ruggiero –York is a professional photographer who specializes in low light, night, and long exposure photography. Her book on night photography, Fun in the Dark: A Guide to Successful Night Photography, came out a year ago and has helped thousands around the world  learn the necessary skills. Beth teaches photography workshops for Arizona Highways Photo Workshops, Desert Botanical Garden, Bryan Peterson School of

Photography, as well as independently with her husband, Ron York. They will be leading a group to Mongolia in September and to Peru in 2017. You can see examples of her work at www.ruggieroimages.com.
