How do I update my contact information in the provider directory?
The online membership is designed to allow you to update your own profile at your convenience.
Go to http://www.arizonappa.com and click on Directory and then Find a Photographer. This will display the online membership directory. Search for your studio name and then click on 'Details' on the right-side of your listing. This will bring up the detailed profile of your studio. Now click on Edit and a screen will appear asking you to enter a password. Click on that password field (this step is important), and then in all upper-case characters type AZPPA. This is the default password. You may change to your own personal password. Then hit enter. You will now be able to change information on your profile - click on save when completed.
The Directory may be searched to find members who are interested in assisting and/or who are looking for assistants, specific towns, etc. You may do this by selecting Extended on the main directory screen and select the fields.
If you have any further questions regarding changing your profile information, please feel fee to email Bob Zimmerlich directly a bob@clickchickphotography.com or connie@clickchickphotography.com or call 480-748-9401.
How do I register for events?
Members and others included in the constant contact list of contacts will receive monthly notices for meetings. Within that email there is a link “Register Now” which will take them to the registration site. They will receive an email confirming their registration after this process. Attendees may also go the association website www.arizonappa.com and click on the top area where it indicates register now for upcoming monthly meeting and this will take them to the registration link.
It is important to register each individual separately unless an option is provided to register an additional member in the same screen. This will help with accurate attendance count.
How much does it cost to attend a monthly meeting?
Monthly meetings are free for the first meeting and $45 thereafter if you are not a member.

What is the cancellation policy for meetings or events?
Full Day Programs, Fall Fest and Convention
Refunds will be issued, with a $25 administrative fee up until two weeks (14) days prior to the event. After refund deadline date no refunds will be issued but registration can be transferred to another person whose membership status is the same. ie Member, student or non member level. Request for a refund or transfer of registration must be submitted in writing.
What mentoring programs are available?
The Mentoring Program is an extremely helpful benefit that matches your photography interests with an experienced AZPPA member. We all have times when we don’t know where to turn to to ask questions about specific techniques, business topics or preparation for an upcoming job. Your Mentor, who you are matched with by our Mentor Chairperson, will guide you in the right direction. This is a free benefit to all AZPPA members (depending upon Mentor availability).
Who are the Mentors?
Our Mentors are pre-qualified AZPPA members that have stepped up and volunteer an hour of their time each month to give back to our membership in guiding our mentees in whatever way they can. Mentor/Mentees typically meet prior to the monthly meeting, by phone or making other meeting arrangements.
How do I sign-up?
Please contact Tom Cheswick at tomcheswick@cox.net or Connie Zimmerlich connie@clickchickphotography.com for an application.

What is the difference between AzPPA and PPA?
A great question that sometimes leads to confusion. All three organizations are there to help photographers. Let's start at the top.
PPA is the Professional Photographers of America http://www.ppa.com and is the National/International organization. Some of the benefits include, but are definitely not limited to:
• Access to reduced rates for various types of insurance like health or equipment.
• Indemnification. If you are sued for lack of performance or things that are beyond control you receive legal support.
• Discounted rates on Credit Card Merchant accounts.
• Lobbying in Washington DC for photographer's rights and Copyright legislation.
• PPA maintains and administers the Certified Professional Photographer program along with other photographer credentials.
• PPA runs one of the largest print competitions.
• Puts on a National convention covering three plus days every year. Check the PPA web site for more information.
AZPPA the Arizona Professional Photographers Association is a PPA Affiliate at the local state organization. We also put on a yearly convention, and print competition, several AZPPA All Day programs, monthly education programs, studio tours, mentoring program and other education events. In addition, this is your opportunity to meet and network with local photographers on a regular basis.
Combined membership in PPA and AZPPA provide you the best in services and education as a professional photographer.
